I am all about the Jessica Simpson Collection, especially the handbags. These are some of my picks that I found at Amazon. Can't wait to see more of her designs to come and hoping these products will become available in more retail stores.

Kate Winslet and Catherine Deneuve

With her Golden Globes wins and potential Oscar in sight, this year Kate Winslet is certainly becoming a style icon and renowned actress. In the December edition of Vanity Fair she posed for a provocative photo shoot. Kate is looking amazing and I can't wait to see what she wears to the Oscars!

These risqué photos were a tribute to Catherine Deneuve in the 1967 film Belle de Jour. Since I didn't know much about Catherine Deneuve, I wanted to find out a bit more about this french actress and fashion icon. She is considered the muse of Yves Saint Laurent, as he dressed her in several films including Belle de Jour. She was also the face of Chanel No. 5 in the 1970s and in 2007 she was in Louis Vuitton luggage ads. Now I definitely want to check out the french film Belle de Jour.

Long Cardigan

Have a cardi party with these long cardigans. Be advised that long cardigans are not to be confused with 'wraps', which are also trendy right now. I'm liking longer lightweight buttoned cardigans with either 3/4 length or full length sleeves in colors like navy and grey. It's kind of a casual prep school style. I found these at American Eagle and American Apparel. Celebs like Kate Hudson, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale are wearing this trend.

Stylista Fans

So, I've been wanting to talk about the reality t.v. show Stylista since it ended back in December, even though I might have been the only person who watched it. It was on the CW and was produced by Tyra Banks. Johanna Cox, who was a Chinese-military analyst beforehand, was named the winner. Highlights of the show included guest judge appearances by Zac Posen and Eve who posed for the cover of Elle magazine for the finale. You also would have loved Anne Slowey, fashion news director of Elle, who was very 'Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada' throughout the show. And Megan, the onetime owner of a boutique named Addict, who was an extremely bitchy yet stylish contestant. Johanna won a paid editorial position at Elle, a paid lease on an apartment in Manhattan and a 1 year clothing allowance at H&M valued at $100,000. A great prize if you ask me!

Get this, Sorel, which is part of Columbia Sportswear Company, was started in my home town Kitchener, Ontario! You need these rugged boots for those blistery winter days. They'll keep your feet warm and dry even when snowmobiling or hiking, and they'll last. Perfect for driveway shoveling!

Reitmans Ad-Campaign

Hello fashion lovers! So I know that if you've heard of Reitmans you probably know that it may not be the most fashionable of stores, but I think it's coming around especially with this ad-campaign. I'm not sure which of these 6 commercials that I like best, but I love how outrageous the haute couture clothing looks. Plus I've always liked the idea of turning haute couture clothing into something wearable, even though I know that's not exactly the point of these commercials.

Also, the one guy in the commercials reminds me of Anthony, played by Mario Cantone, on Sex and the City. He was so funny!

French Connection Dress

Dress Alert! This French Connection tinsel twill dress is my kind of 'little black dress'. I love tulle dresses!

Mario Badescu Skin Care

The Mario Badescu Skin Care line has a huge celebrity following and I've seen their famous best selling drying lotion advertised in magazines for years. So I decided to order this product to see for myself and now I'm hooked. This calamine spot treatment is said to be good for all skin types, but be careful to use it only where you need to. Be aware that it is potent and it will dry out your skin if used improperly.

2Love Collection

Celebrities are spreading the love with the 2Love Collection. The 2Love Collection allows celebrities to design their own t-shirts and a portion of the proceeds goes to a charity of their choice. Among the celeb designers are Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, Alyssa Milano, Molly Sims, Jessica Alba and Mischa Barton.

Rag & Bone brings us a distinct style with their British inspired tailored sportswear. This label has hit the menswear trend on the nose with their vests, cardigans and jackets. Dressed in a tailored tuxedo jacket by Rag & Bone, Kate Bosworth pulled off this look. The brand is available at Holt Renfrew, TNT in Toronto and revolveclothing.com.

Juicy Couture Day Dreamer

I have been completely lusting over the Juicy Couture Day Dreamer Velour Tote's for quite some time now. Especially the nardels (pink) / depp (brown) color combination. These bags are made with velour and leather trim. I love the big bow and charms attached. This 2008 version has Juicy Couture and fairy-tale embroidery on the front.

You'll love commercial-free music on Sirius Satellite Radio. Sirius now has many radio products to choose from, like the portable, vehicle and home radios. I have mine set up in my car and listen online too. You would also probably be surprised after listening to Sirius to find the many number of businesses now using Satellite Radio.
