DVF Fashion Show on The City

Did anyone catch the premiere of The City on Monday? The premiere featured a Diane von Furstenberg fashion show for Spring 2009 at New York Fashion Week. DVF has gained huge popularity as Whitney Port's job working with DVF is featured on the show. The show featured beautiful silky prints and floral dresses with headpieces and hats. Very modern rocker hippychic. These are some of my faves.

Sequins

Haven't worn that sequin dress of yours yet this year? Here's your chance! New Year's Eve is a great opportunity to wear some extra glitz and glam, so why not? Remember to wear this look with a pair of tights. I love this Betsey Johnson sequins trapeze dress. Also, the Tory Burch minidress worn by Serena van der Woodsen, played by Blake Lively, on Gossip Girl. Others are a Fox Racing dress and Guess beaded top. Sparkle the night away!

mark Magalog

You can get the mark. brand through an Avon rep and now Lauren Conrad is creating accessories with mark. I like the connecting the Hook Ups for products like mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss, but you can connect lots of face, lips or eye products. The Flip For It's are great too, with eyeshadows, blush, glosses and lipsticks. You can also customize the eye shadows in the Snap To It Color Palettes.

Another Pink Pea Coat

To go along with an earlier post, BB Dakota Pink Pea Coat, I found another great pink colored pea coat at Gap.

Elle Intimates

If you haven't already heard, Australian Supermodel Elle Macpherson has her own line of lingerie, Elle Macpherson Intimates. Intimates gained popularity after it was modelled and Elle made an appearance on an episode of America's Next Top Model Cycle 10. The line is incredibly sexy with lots of lace and it gives off a romantic French feel. I found pieces at Shopbop and HerRoom.

Fiorentini + Baker Buckled Boots

Bologna brand Fiorentini + Baker created the buckled and straped flat black leather riding boots worn here by Silver, played by Jessica Stroup, on 90210. Kate Beckinsale was seen wearing a highheeled style aswell. Other similar versions of these boots are made by RocketDog and Frye Boots. I found the Fiorentini + Baker flat boots at Browns Shoes.

The Guess store is one of my fav places to visit on Boxing Day for the great sales! This year there's 25% off everything and up to 50% off sale items in store and online. I'll be looking for these black handbags today.

Katie and Suri: The Dynamic Duo of 2008

Tell me that you didn't think you'd get away without a posting about Baby Suri this year!? I for one know that, for the moment, Suri Cruise is the definition of little girl fashion. So, if you have a daughter of your own look no further for style inspiration than this pint sized fashion icon.

Her style is no doubt due in large part to stylish mom Katie Holmes, who now happens to be collaborating with her stylist Jeanne Yang to create the Holmes Yang line for Giorgio Armani. This line is only available 'for friends and their daughters'.

Suri is making girls everywhere want to wear dresses with red, silver, gold and black ballet flats. Don't forget your tights to add some extra pizazz and matching mommy/daughter outfits are always appropriate.
