David Meister's Sophistication

David Meister makes georgeous, sophisticated gowns for the stars, perfect for the Red Carpet. He uses luxurious fabrics, like charmeuse, for eveningwear and I'm loving his daytime dresses too. Worn by celebrities Jennifer Hudson and Sharon Stone. I found items available at Neiman Marcus.

Ashley Paige is famous for sexy knited bikinis and sending models down the runway with rescue dogs. She's had her designs on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and has her own reality show, Ashley Paige Bikini or Bust, on TLC. Celebs wearing her designs include Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth, Heidi Klum and Zooey Deschanel. I fell in love with her swimwear on an episode of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. Apparently her swimwear is in pretty high demand right now, so it's difficult to find. Please let me know, if you know where it can be found!

Tattoo artist,Kat Von D, has created an edgy make-up line for Sephora that exemplifies old-Hollywood glamour with an L.A. vibe. She is best known for her work as a tattoo artist on the TLC reality shows Miami Ink and LA Ink. I'm really liking the eyeshadow colors and brush set.

Jason Wu

After he designed Michelle Obama's Inaugural Ball Gown I decided to check out 25 year old up-and-coming designer, Jason Wu. He learned to sew by making clothes for dolls and has made doll clothing designs for toy company Integrity Toys, called Jason Wu dolls and Fashion Royalty. He's also interned with Narciso Rodriguez and has celebrity clients such as Leighton Meester and Kerry Washington.
